Camp Tuscarora is owned and operated by Baden Powell Council, located in the Southern Tier of NY. The camp has 1200 acres and has a 35 acre lake. The facilities include tent sites, winter units, lean-to’s and lodges.
Activity program areas include: lakefront, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, a 40′ climbing tower, nature, off camp programs, primitive camping, scoutcraft, handicraft, archery, rifle, shotgun, and more……
The Wilderness Survival program is offered outside of the normal summer camp weeks. During this program scouts get a week of practicing their wilderness survival skills which include: shelter building, water collection skills, fire skills, hunting and trapping and learning about edible plants.
