The Corning Museum of Glass was founded by Corning Glass Works in 1951. The museum focuses on the history of glass over 3500 years with extensive collections and exhibits. Besides the exhibits they offer chances to get hands with glass.
Founded in 1951 by Corning Glass Works (now Corning Incorporated) as a gift to the nation for the company’s 100th anniversary, The Corning Museum of Glass is a not-for-profit museum dedicated to telling the story of a single material: glass.
Various Scouts (girls and boys) along with other youth programs are offered. The Boy Scout programs are offered but cater more towards the Cub Scouts vs older scouts.
