Westchester-Putnam Council owns and operates this 1,000 acre camp set in the Adirondack Mountain region of New York. A Boy Scout summer camp and a Cub Scout Resident camps are run during the summer along with off season camping throughout the year. The camp is located on Brant Lake, NY and the property has tent sites, lean-tos, cabins and primitive camping.
Summer camp is split into three camps: Camp Buckskin (a dining hall style camp), Camp Waubeeka (a patrol cooking camp) and Summit Base (Trek programs).
Program activities include: zip line, rock climbing, 60′ climbing tower, COPE course, mountain biking, horse trail rides, overnight horse treks, outpost camping, caving, aquatics, swimming, boating, scoutcraft, orienteering, ecology, nature, hiking, shooting sports, archery and more…..
